Welcome to the OSTİM Technical University Department of Economics. Some of you have left behind a challenging university preparation and preference process and are now taking the first steps of a new life. Some of you have had a challenging year of preparation for studying in a foreign language, while others have completed a challenging first year and are starting your second. You are all very valuable to us. As the Department of Economics, we stand by you with all our facilities to build your future together on solid foundations.

The science of economics fundamentally shows ways to make the right choices between different preferences and decision bundles. Considering the globalizing world economy and the shifting conditions of economic relations, making the right choice requires both theoretical and practical competence. With our comprehensive curriculum and contemporary teaching methods — created in line with the vision of our university's vision— we provide students with a solid foundation in modern economic theories, analytical thinking, and problem-solving. We also offer opportunities for practical training in the business world. Thus, we will work together to raise you as professionals who produce practical solutions with high-level analytical skills, making you sought after by the private sector, the public sector, and international organizations.
